Week 2: History and Evolution ●HASS: Researching the history of animal domestication, focusing on specific species (dogs, cats, horses). Creating a timeline of domestication. Dogs were domesticated more than 30,000 years ago. Dogs are believed to be the first domesticated animals, They were domesticated from wolves in various parts of the world, Including Europe and Asia. Early humans likely use dogs for hunting and protection. Cats - 7500 BCE, cats were domesticated in Western Asia.  Week 1: Introduction - What are Domestic Animals? ● English: Brainstorming, discussions, and sharing personal experiences with pets or other animals. Reading texts that present diverse viewpoints on human-animal relationships. My family found a stray cat under our house years ago. He was very nice and not your normal stray. We took him in and he lives with us now. He is very lazy and very nice. He makes me happy because sometimes he does funny dumb things. His fur is soft, i like patting him. I read about animals regularly online, in particular about rabbits. I read on a website that rabbits start chattering there teeth like purring when they are happy and calm. I have a pet rabbit that i got about 4 years ago. She was paired with another rabbit but he sadly died. ● Science: Classifying animals based on their characteristics (mammals, birds, reptiles).
